RECITE THE CITY  | Norway​ | August-November 2021

‘Recite the City,’ is a series of site-specific performances in the heart of Oslo. This project, born from the themes of memory and identity, realised by two immigrant artists—a classical Iranian dancer and an Iranian Tar player.

Together, they navigate Oslo’s streets, uncovering the city’s hidden gems while connecting the essence of their homeland to their current surroundings. ‘Recite the City’ is a moving exploration of cultural fusion, memory, and the unique stories woven into the fabric of a city.
